A
Community Centered Approach
Spiritual companioning is offered through a community-centered sliding scale model. This structure is designed to ensure this work remains accessible to all who seek it, while creating a sustainable ecosystem of mutual care.

Across professional organizations, standard fees for this kind of work can vary widely (often ranging anywhere from $50 to $150+ per session). Because I know navigating flexible pricing can sometimes bring up uncertainty about what is "right" or "expected" to pay, I offer the transparent, tiered scale below.

My hope is that these tiers give you the clarity and permission to choose exactly what works for your current season of life.

Community Solidarity Rate ($0 – $70 per session)
For those who need financial flexibility or face significant financial barriers.
If a lower or zero-cost rate makes this space accessible to you, I warmly invite you to choose it. Whether you pay $0, $30, or $70, your presence is deeply valued, and this space is held for you.

Sustaining Rate ($80 – $120 per session)
For those who can meet the standard cost of care.
This tier reflects the standard professional rate that sustains my livelihood and allows me to continue offering this practice.

Pay-It-Forward Rate ($130+ per session)
For those with the capacity to support others.
We are part of a shared circle. When you are able to pay above the sustaining rate, your generosity directly helps offset the cost and support access for those who discern a lower amount.

(You are also welcome to support this ecosystem through direct contributions via Venmo at any time by noting “community care” in your payment memo.)

A Guide to Discerning Payment
Conversations about money can feel tender. Money carries stories of survival, struggle, inheritance, privilege, responsibility, and longing. So, when you're invited to discern a rate for a service, especially a service that touches the heart or soul, it can stir up all sorts of things.

If you aren't sure which rate above to choose, this is an invitation into discernment. It calls for honesty, spaciousness, and intentional attention. Deciding how you pay may be more important than the amount you pay.

1. Begin with the Body Start by taking a breath.

Feel your feet on the ground.
Notice your body’s response as you consider the question: What feels just, right, and good to pay for this offering?
Sometimes we think we have to figure it out with our minds alone. But your body is wise. If you tune in, you might feel a sense of constriction or expansion, heaviness or ease, as you imagine different amounts. Pay attention to that.

2. Consider Your Means

Ask yourself honestly:

What amount would feel sustainable for me, not just once, but over time? Would this payment interfere with my ability to meet essential needs?

Or, am I in a season where I have a little more to give?

3. Name Your Values

What is this service worth to you, not just in dollars, but in value?

Ask: What do I receive here? What impact does this work have on my life, my relationships, my sense of self or spirit? This isn’t about justifying. It’s about honoring.

4. Notice Inner Tension

Discernment often lives in the space between extremes. There’s a “just right” middle that may ask something of you, but doesn’t deplete you.
What amount would leave me feeling both generous and grounded? What would allow me to walk away from this exchange with a spirit of gratitude, not regret?

5. Remember the Bigger Picture

Under this model, we are an ecosystem. If you're able to give above the sustaining rate, consider it an act of communal love. If you need to pay less, trust that the community has joyfully made that possible. Both giving and receiving are sacred.

6. Let it Be a Living Choice

You don’t have to get it perfect. Your financial situation might change, or your relationship to the offering might deepen. Let your decision evolve. You can always adjust what you give.

A Final Blessing

May the amount you choose reflect your truth.

May it align with your resources, honor the value of what you receive, and contribute (if you’re able) to the greater good.

May it feel like a quiet "yes" in your chest. A whisper of right relationship and financial integrity.
